This Privacy Policy explains how Viridian Roleplay ("Viridian," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our website, Discord server, Discord applications or bots, FiveM server, community systems, applications, support channels, paid features, and related services.
1. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you interact with Viridian, we may collect:
- Discord account information such as user ID, username, display name, avatar, server membership, roles, and interaction history with our applications or bots.
- Community content such as messages, reports, applications, tickets, moderation notes, screenshots, clips, appeals, support requests, and staff communications.
- Game-related information such as character names, identifiers, whitelist status, job or department status, bans, warnings, inventory or economy records, and server activity logs.
- Website and technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, request logs, security logs, and cookies needed for admin authentication.
- Payment-related information such as purchase records, package names, transaction IDs, billing status, refund or chargeback history, and account identifiers connected to a transaction.
We do not intentionally collect Discord passwords, Discord tokens, full payment card numbers, or government identification documents.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Operate the website, Discord community, Discord applications, bots, FiveM server, and roadmap systems.
- Review applications, assign roles, manage whitelist access, provide support, and moderate the community.
- Investigate rule violations, fraud, abuse, evasion, security events, and payment disputes.
- Provide, track, modify, or revoke digital items, paid perks, subscriptions, donations, and other benefits.
- Improve server stability, gameplay balance, community safety, and user experience.
- Comply with platform rules, legal obligations, Discord policies, and payment-processor requirements.
3. Discord API Data
If you interact with our Discord applications or bots, we may receive data from Discord that is necessary to provide the requested community functionality. We use Discord API data only for Viridian operations, moderation, role management, support, applications, safety, and related community features. We do not sell Discord API data, use it for advertising networks, or use it to train AI models.
4. Payments
If Viridian offers paid items, donations, subscriptions, or other paid benefits, payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe, PayPal, Tebex, Discord Premium Apps, or similar services. Those providers may collect and process payment details under their own privacy policies. We generally receive transaction status and purchase records, not full card numbers.
5. Cookies and Site Security
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions, including admin login sessions, security, routing, and platform operation. Cloudflare may process technical request data to provide hosting, security, caching, and abuse prevention.
6. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- Viridian staff, moderators, developers, and service providers who need it to operate the community.
- Hosting, database, payment, security, analytics, ticketing, or infrastructure providers.
- Discord, payment processors, law enforcement, or other parties when required to enforce rules, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or protect the community.
We do not sell personal information for money or knowingly share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for community operation, moderation history, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment records, and dispute handling. Some moderation, ban, purchase, and security records may be retained for an extended period to prevent evasion and abuse.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain information by contacting Viridian staff through the official Discord server. We may need to retain some information where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, payment, moderation, or dispute-resolution reasons.
9. Children
Viridian is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by law in their country. We do not knowingly collect information from children who are not allowed to use Discord or our services.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, and you are responsible for protecting your own Discord account, FiveM account, passwords, and devices.
11. International Users
Viridian may process information in the United States or other countries where our hosting, platform, and service providers operate. By using Viridian, you understand that information may be processed outside your state, province, or country.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of Viridian after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
